Although I did not buy this book as a collectors item, it was in like new condition. You could not readily notice any wear on it. Again, I am not a collector and there may be things a collector may observe differently, but as a gift for my wife it was excellent. The book arrived in a very timely manner.

I love this mount, easy to set up and GPS doesn’t move on the dashboard, safe to use, much better than the suction mount I used before which hit me several times as it can be easily dislodged from the windshield especially because of the moisture from the rain.

OK – so I’m not an intellect….but I found this book to be absolutely wonderful. I listened to it on CD as I travelled to and from work. It was well written and absolutely held my interest from beginning to end. If you want John Steinbeck, then read John Steinbeck (as suggested from readers who don’t share my enthusiasm). In the meantime, enjoy this wonderful story and cry and laugh, as I did.

This is a great idea! I have taken a few pretty fast turns, and it hasn’t moved yet. My dashboard has some patterning on it and I keep it pretty clean, so this may help. And I was worried that the bean bag may block the screen on the gps, but it is ok for the angle I keep it at.
The only thing wrong is it is kind of bulky, and I don’t have a good place to keep it in my car when not in use. So it either stays on the dash or on the floor.

I read about Kindle in “Choice” magazine, and looked it up online. Living in Australia has many positives. But books, even paperbacks, are quite expensive @$32.95. Our bookshelves were absolutely full, and I was beginning to fill up cardboard boxes with books I’d recently read. So the idea of reading a book electronically appealed to me.
I also have arthritis in my hands. Reading a large paperback was pretty painful, especially as I enjoy reading in bed. Kindle has solved all these problems! Weighing at less than 300g, it is easy to hold. When I finished reading Eat, Pray, Love, and wanted to move on to its sequel, I ordered it online, and it was in my Kindle in about 10 seconds! If I had wanted to read a hard copy of the book, we would have driven 180 miles up to the city, found a place to park, near a bookstore, and then bought the book to bring home. A trip like this takes more than a day for us, with a hotel stay as well! 10 seconds certainly beats that!
We are planning a trip to Bali in a month. I’ve had a look on the map to see that it has excellent mobile phone coverage. Now we can read the newspaper, (any one of 39) in the mornings, on my Kindle! This may lead to our buying a second one.
So, thanks, Amazon. Kindle has really changed my reading habits…

Hi, I’m 37 years old, running Marathon and less.
I used the Garmin Forerunner 405 in the last 18 months and decided to replace it with
the Garmin 305 Forerunner (yes, you read correct – i bought the 305 over the 405)
and i am very happy.
I am much more satisfied now:
- The on-going pace is much more accurate,
- the screen is clear and easy to read (405 is too small)
- It synchronize with satelites faster
and above all:
- It is easy to use with push-buttons (thanks god i no longer need to use the “”touch screen”").
Yes, it is a little big and a little heavy, but this is surely neglected!!!

The only doubt you should have when thinking of buying the Garmin 305 is whether you are
willing to spend more money and get the Garmin 310x.
I decided not to, and i am good with it: By saving 200$ the meaningful lost is not having
a vibrating alarms. Which is a very good idea, but i can manage without it, and with the 200$ i saved
